Northside Christian Center is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. We want to know you better. Please fill out this brief form so that we can thank you for visiting personally and then read through the information below to better acquaint yourself with our church!

What's the service like?

Worship services at Northside are our time to come together as a community and family of faith to express our love for God
and to connect with one another in order to strengthen and encourage each other in our individual faith journeys.
You can expect focused teaching from the Word of God, worship that is rooted in the Word and reflective of genuine faith,
and an environment that is family friendly and Kingdom-focused. We believe the best way to achieve this is to be authentic and transparent,
making mercy and grace an abundant commodity in our fellowship. We want each person to come ‘as they are’ and to know
they are loved by God and should love one another unconditionally without expectations of any religious performance.
It is also our prayer that as people come as they are, they leave transformed by the Word and Spirit of God, constantly growing in their faith.

How long are the services?

We aren’t in a hurry to get in and get out of our time of worship together. Our Sunday service begins at 10:30 AM and is typically over around 12:00 PM.

What's the music like?

We seek to worship the Lord in every aspect of life, but acknowledge the rich experience brought by agreeing together in truth through song. We sing and proclaim together Biblical truths about God and our relationship with Him. We are mostly contemporary in style but purpose to include the wealth of traditional songs and hymns that have fostered growth through countless  generations. When we come together to worship, our focus is on the Lord rather than ourselves or experiences with Him.

What about the preaching?

We desire to provide solid biblical teaching that is true to the context of Scripture and reflective of God's leading for today's believer, rightly dividing the Word of Truth and applying it with proper respect for its original intent. You can expect messages to be rooted in Scripture rather than pop-culture and to challenge you to live out your faith in every area of your life on a daily basis. You can generally expect expository preaching with the occasional topical message or short series. The messages are usually around 45 minutes long.

How do I get plugged in?

Just jump in from where you are to everything we have going on! You are welcome to
join us in all of the services and ministries that are taking place throughout each week. We do require church membership to serve as a leader in ministry and require background checks for any members working with children. For more information on various ministries go to the “Ministries” link. To really get connected with what is going on at Northside, download our App!

What do you have for my kids?

When you get here, ask one of our greeters to direct you to our children's check in area. We have a nursery for children ages 0-3 and is available for the entire service.  You will need to check your child in at the nursery. Be sure to keep the receipt printed after checkin so that we can ensure that all children go with the proper adults.

We welcome all children into our Sunday service. We believe that it is a blessing to have them in service with us worshipping and hearing the Word. Because we know they are still learning to sit still and may need help, our hospitality team has binders in the foyer and worship center labeled with age-appropriate activities that will help keep them occupied and engaged in church.  Kids can also enjoy ministry at their level during Sunday School and on Wednesday nights during our ministry time. Our youth ministry has services on Sunday and Wednesday nights. To learn more about our children's ministry, click the icons below!
